Core Web Vitals are a set of key performance metrics introduced by Google to evaluate and enhance the real-world user experience on websites. These metrics focus on the most critical aspects of how users perceive the speed, responsiveness, and visual stability of a site. The three main components of Core Web Vitals are Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), First Input Delay (FID)—soon being replaced by Interaction to Next Paint (INP)—and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS).
